My Member Insurance Agency, LLC (MMIA) today announced the acquisition of Saginaw, MI-based Robinson & Wortman, Inc DBA Duclos Insurance Agency, Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1949, Duclos Insurance Agency provides a full range of insurance and financial solutions to individuals and businesses in the Great Lakes Bay Region and throughout Michigan. As an independent insurance agency, Duclos represents many great regional and national insurance companies.
Daniel Wortman, Robert Robinson, and their associates will continue to operate from their current location in Saginaw, Michigan under the direction of Eric Neumeyer, CEO of My Member Insurance Agency LLC. Dan will become the Senior Vice President of Personal Insurance for the agency, while Bob will become the Senior Vice President of Commercial Insurance. All staff will be retained through the transaction.

My Member Insurance Agency, LLC is a wholly owned CUSO affiliate of the Frankenmuth Credit Union. MMIA has been operating as an independent insurance agency since early 2017 and is focused on helping credit union members with their insurance needs. Currently based out of Frankenmuth, Michigan, MMIA will be combining operations with Duclos and relocating full time to Saginaw, Michigan.
